I know we haven't been open for quite a while. We are just finishing up some of our last touches to our new theme, new catchy name, and getting all the legal stuff ready.

And......we are legally able to open our store as of 2/19/2025! It won't be long now! We now have our: 

• Online business registration number
• Our sales/use tax ID (it's on it's way. Once we have it in our hands we will open, We have our actual number already.)
• We have had our EIN for years, we do not legally need to update the name for our EIN number. 
• IT WONT BE LONG NOW!! We are super excited to open. 
• We now have our business name registered in PA; it is our name and only our name now.

First, we want to apologize for the delay with one of our vendors. It took us years to find reputable vendors. We will not tolerate a vendor when they cannot answer us, especially if they were very upfront with us in the past. The vendor promised semi fast processing and transit time, and they are not holding up on their end. However, they have in the past. We did not hear of some of the logic services that they are using, which is a red flag. This has not happened in the past with this vendor, and we apologize for this. The items are reaching our customers but in longer processing and very long transit times. The customers seem to like their items still, which is a plus, and we are very grateful for this, but they must stick to what they promise in their transit and processing times. On their site they promise a decent transit and processing time, stating “keeping customers peace of mind” a plus. If you were a customer, and you purchased from this provider, you will receive a special discount code that you can use in our store for your next purchase with us, this does not make up for the delay or the problem, but we hope this small gift helps ease your worries. 

Some of you are probably wondering why we use vendors. Should I say why I use vendors, I use vendors because I have tried wholesale before, and it fails. I have spent a few thousand dollars on wholesale items, and they are still at my location. To sale wholesale items, you must stay on top of the fads, and they change all the time, at times daily. It is safer for me to use vendors that are reputable and some wholesale providers to do business. The economy is terrible, so items are not flying off the shelves, meaning some expiration dates are not being held up. This is why I chose to use wholesale providers and vendors for most of my items. Items are beautiful and expiration dates are holding up when I use vendors and wholesale providers, and my customers are my top priority. We are hoping that this is not an issue with this vendor in the future, due to most all of our men's items are from this vendor, and most of the men love their products. Not all of our men's items, but most of them, it took forever to find a men's vendor, they are very few are far in between.

🦋 We are debating on changing our store name...

This is not a definite as of yet, but it is up for discussion. We have a name picked out, we purchased the domain, email, and so on. However, we are up in the air yet on changing it to something more catchy due to our previous customers possibly not knowing who we are if we would start a email campaign. 

We are thinking that when we open an actual building in the future that Bay Gift Shop might not be as catchy as we thought it might be. We need an awesome name, something that will make us stand out in the crowd, and actually we found a name, but as we said, we are not changing it as of yet. 

No worries though we will still be the same as in the owner of the store, the products, nothing would change except for the name. We will send a mass email when we do decide to take this step, and we will post it on our main page of our site so all of our customers will know that they are not on the wrong site.

Most people miss the concept of using vendors (a type of drop shipping), it sounds bad and big enterprises do not want the competition, that is why it is looked down upon. Most think that the products all come directly from China - THAT IS NOT TRUE THAT IS THE BIGGEST LIE. Almost all of USA products come from international factories, even items that are sold in physical stores, the important part and what most miss is how people love to be competitive and try to destroy others so they can sell the same products and they knock out the little guys, like me. Unless someone is actually making something by hand then it is legit coming directly from someone who made it in the United States...and that is a fact.

🦋 When asking how long we have been in business and more...

We changed the name of our shop to Bay Gift Shop in August of 2021. We were Meadow Mountain Beauty, Lori Jean Apparel, and Laquisite over the years. We changed our name a few times due to being hard to find in search options when customers search for online stores within Google and other search engines. This is the name we are sticking with, it took us years to finally come up with a name that is everything we were in search of when it came to a name.

We have been in business for a very long time. We started selling on 3rd party sites way back in 2006. I can remember it, the products were handmade and went like wildfire until someone branded the idea that I was creating and I lost all due to someone branding each item I created. The ideas didn't always come from me, but what I made did come from me handcrafted at that time. I had a lot of the items still laying around so after eBay and Etsy showed up I placed them on there. It didn't take long for that to stop too, so I still have some of those handmade items here to this day. 

We did not own our own platform at that time. We did open a store in eBay and Etsy, once we saw there was a way to open up on our own platform we did just that. Why did we choose the other names, and why didn't we stick with them? Meadow Mountain Beauty name focused only on makeup products. We at one time paid to have our label on custom made makeup items, the makeup was amazing, but customers didn't want to pay for something they were not sure of and the cost was pretty high. (We couldn't keep that name due to now selling just about everything.) Lori Jean Apparel was based on just denim products, obviously we couldn't keep that name either, we sell many different materials and not just denim products anymore. Laquisite was a very unique name that I made up one day and I loved it, but it did not come up in search results. The Sassy Shack was another name we used, but some store in Texas kept getting on our site that was also named The Sassy Shack and kept placing bad reviews, sending us threatening messages, and so on. They said it was their name, not mine, (even though they did not actually paten or legally take the name) so I gave up and said the heck with it, and I changed the name. I am glad I did because they have terrible reviews, due to the way they acted I can see why. Laquisite was the first name of our store way back in 2008. No one even knew it existed, and it was not being found at all. So the cool name was no longer a good idea. 

Why did we chose this name now "Bay Gift Shop"? We are planning to move close to the ocean one day; possibly soon. I plan on opening up an actual store at a location near a bay side area, this name fits that perfectly. I have big plans for the inside of the store and it will be unique in everyway, people will come from all around to just see how I have the store set up. 

Are we legally permitted to sell products from vendors? Yes, I am legally permitted to sell items from the same vendors that any department store sells, and more. I have my resale license and my EIN number to prove it. It took many years to do all that I have done; it took years to find legit vendors, how to become found on Google, and so on, and when I say years I mean years. I have a dream and I won't stop until it is fulfilled, even if I make no sales this store will stay open, no matter what. I am very determined and willing to sacrifice to keep the doors open. 

Why do I offer so many things? I want to stand out above the rest, yes some are hard to compete with but I do what I can. I love to offer discount codes, payment plans, reward points, extra long returns (many small online stores only offer up to 7 to 14 days after delivery), I return shipping costs and price of the item, when there is a return or a refund if it is our fault, I cannot return fees from credit card companies and PayPal fees but I try my best. I have found a new option now, and I have started that a week ago; I can now send my customers a return prepaid shipping label to return their products (Not furniture or extremely heavy items). I am so excited that the platform now offers this! I hated to make my customers pay for return shipping costs, even if I was refunding the shipping amount after the return came back to me. It made me feel so bad, I wouldn't want that out of an online store, so now you will have a prepaid shipping label sent if you need to return an item back to me. (Furniture will be different.)

🦋 We have chosen to sell furniture and some other home items..

So we have decided to start to sell more items for the home. We are in the process adding these items. You will see "In Process" when looking into these categories. If they are listed that means they can be purchased. The "In Process" just means we are doing our best to list all the products that are about to be sold in our store. You can purchase what is listed within these categories. There will not be a delay in the shipping of these items. We are placing the return process of these new items.

This is just for this vendor not all the vendors we work with: 

Cancellation Policy for these Furnishings: We pride ourselves in how fast our orders ship out, but for this reason we cannot guarantee that orders placed on our website will be able to be cancelled before the order ships. So, please carefully review your order before submitting to prevent need for cancellation. Nevertheless, if you do need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. To cancel an order that has already shipped out, please refuse delivery, and we will issue refund minus any applicable return shipping fees shortly after the return is received back at our warehouse. Please note the customer will be responsible for the actual shipping cost incurred on orders that are cancelled after they have shipped out.


Return Policy: Please notify us within 30 days of delivery to request return authorization. If the return is due to an order being damaged, defective, or incorrect, then we will arrange for prepaid return at our expense and issue full refund shortly after the return is received back at our warehouse. If the return is due to reason other than item being damaged, defective, or incorrect then customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred. Please note the customer is be responsible for all shipping costs incurred on returned orders that are not damaged, defective or incorrect. Before returning a product, please obtain return authorization by contacting us and providing the following information: customer name, item(s) to be returned, and the nature of the problem. Refund minus any applicable return shipping cost will be issued shortly after return is received back at our warehouse.


Mattress Return Policy: Mattresses are non-returnable if opened or taken out of their plastic wrapping.


Damaged or Defective Orders Please refuse delivery if your order appears damaged, defective, or incorrect. Once delivery has been refused with the shipper, you will have the option to cancel the order for a full refund, or have a replacement shipped to you at no additional cost. Please notify us as soon as possible if your order is delivered with concealed damaged. Please include a detailed description of the damages or defects along with any additional supporting documents, like part numbers, and pictures, emailed to the vendor address (Bay Gift Shop's Responsibility) . Once we have received this information, we will file a claim with the shipper or manufacturer on your behalf, and you will be given the option to have a replacement sent or receive full refund.

Shipping Policy: Includes all shipments within the contiguous United States.
Most items will ship out in 1-2 days via USPS, UPS, or FedEx ground.
Some large items, like sofas and heavy beds, will ship as CURBSIDE DELIVERY via YRC shipping ABF freight. RL carriers, or other freight carrier (customer is responsible for bringing order inside and setting up)
Some of our items ship "Signature Required", so someone may need to be present to sign for order upon delivery.
We are unable to ship to the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico

🦋 Lower than normal store inventory

We are announcing lower than normal store inventory due to backorders and due to the past holiday season. All items that are in the store are not backordered, however, if you know us, we normally have more inventory than this, we are actually down 20,000 products. Operations will be back to normal within 2 to 3 months.

We wanted to let our customers know that our products are being sold out very fast, we are deleting 150 to 300 products a day due to being sold out. It only becomes more as Christmas approaches. If there is a product you are interested in please do not wait, if it is from a vendor, that product will be sold out everywhere that vendor allows it's products to be sold. 

 

🦋 Orders that are created on Weekends.

Please note that orders that are placed Friday afternoon 3pm to Sunday 11pm will not be ordered until the Monday after the weekend. We like to make sure that orders that are placed on a Friday late afternoon and the weekend have a scan completed to ensure that it is not fraudulent. Holidays that the banks are closed will also fall into this category. We have noticed that if someone does steal someone's card information they like to use the card over a weekend due to the banks not being open or fully staffed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Orders are more likely to be canceled by the customer if ordered over a weekend, so we do not notify the vendor (if it is a vendor item) until the Monday after the weekend. This protects both the customer and our online store.

We just added a lot of items that are in the fast shipping category. These are the brand name items that are located in our menu. We usually add new items every other day, sometimes daily. But...as we add them at least 38 to 50 products are sold out! Yes, the upcoming holiday season is selling vendor products out very quickly. We are not just saying this to receive sales, we are saying this because it is the truth --> If you want something from our store please do not wait, items are being sold out just as fast as we can add them.

We have been up in discussion on allowing items to be sent worldwide. If we choose to do this there will be a delay on transit time. If you are a customer that is located in another country please write to us if you like one of our items. We might be able to figure something out. 

We want you to know that the transit time would be much longer than what is considered normal. The reason for this is most of our items that are from vendors and factories will not ship overseas. If you would want to order from us, and you are from outside of the United States most of the items would have to be shipped to us first, then we would ship them to you. 

We will not be responsible for international shipping costs. You would have to purchase the shipping for that item on top of what is already stated. The reason for this is it would have to be shipped to us first, so that would be one shipping cost. Then on top of that the item would have to be shipped once again. That would be the cost of the international shipping. We did not want to double the shipping costs for our customers, that is why we really do not like to ship to other countries. We like to offer you discounts, not offer you heartache. 

We can send you items that are from our actual location. These are the Bay Gift Shop Exclusives. These are upscale items that will have a price tag; however, they are worth the price and we have a payment plan you can use. We have tons of these items to add, but my platform only allows 1000 variants a day. Due to most of their items have over 15 variants it will take quite a few weeks to add them all. 

This vendor has a wide range of sizes from reg to plus and many categories. Once we add them all you will see why we have chose such unique and trendy styles, regarding the price.  

(What is great about this vendor is, AT TIMES, they have great sales (prizes) such as buy one and get one free prizes. We will definitely let you know if you fall into this category after you order from this brand, but before we order your initial item so you can add one more item, for free, with your order. You must pick the item out at the same time. It will become void if you decide to use this at a later time. (In other words, the only way you receive this is if you happen to purchase an item that is on sale at that time on their vendor site.) 🦋 Just a quick note - June 1, 2023

So, I haven't wrote for awhile and I wanted to update some of my customers. I do not ask for personal items back if there is an issue with a product. I was a little tired when I talked to one of my customers, sorry! ❤️ It was rather late when they messaged me. If I can catch the message, no matter the time I honestly try to pick up on it asap. Even though we do use some vendors, wholesale suppliers, and local places, we do not ask for those items back. However, due to so many scams out there, we do require pictures of the item that is of poor quality. It must be the same item you purchased from us, and it must not be destroyed intentionally. A few people can spoil it for everyone. Once we receive the pictures that are taken of the item, we submit them to the proper place, if it's a vendor we then send the vendor the pictures. They send the pictures to their supervisor then we refund your money. Our vendors are awesome so it won't take long for the process to complete. 

What are some examples of some items that we do not ask to be returned? 

- Swimwear, lingerie, undergarments, anything of personal nature. These require pictures of the areas of concern.

- All items that are not of personal wear such as jeans, shirts, socks, shoes, coats, home décor, etc... must be returned to us before we refund you fully.  

- Digital Downloads cannot be refunded, we can possibly fix it but it cannot be refunded.

🦋 Did you notice that we are slowly adding some Men's items to our online store? - 3/4/2023

We have found some really nice men's items from a vendor that is an international vendor, they have stated that the sizing is true to size and the quality is great. The shipping time for these men's items is estimated to be 8-12 business days. (Please allow for a few days of processing time.) We have been ISO these items for quite a few years. Men clothing is a hard find, and if you do, they usually do not fit correctly, we are blessed to find this. We will be slowly adding these items over the next few months. Everything you own was created or partially created in another country. You will rarely find anything created in the United States, most companies just order mass quantities and store them in a warehouse to resell, so this vendor being international did not concern us at all. It's the quality and sizing that we are concerned, and so far there is not an issue. 

How we noted that this was a great vendor: 

- We messaged them on their site, they almost immediately responded, it was as if someone was designated to answer. (This is even impossible for us to do most of the time. This was amazing.) 

- They did not hesitate to let us know their sizing information. 

- There was not aggression when asking questions, even if they were repeated. 

- We always take a chance when using a new vendor. IF by chance these items that are men's items do not fit correctly or are sized too small, please return the item back to us at Bay Gift Shop, PO Box 65, Meyersdale, PA 15552, and we will refund your money after we receive the item back. We have to do this, we used to not require the item back, however, a few that took advantage of this kindness has made it harder for others sadly. We require all items to be returned if not satisfied. 

 - Those who are waiting on the hypogenic earrings, we are debating on adding these to the site. We have noticed that many have these type of earrings listed and it may not be worth us listing. We have made a few to test out, they are beautiful, however it takes time to make them. We will keep you updated. 

 

🦋 We are so excited to let you know that we are adding some new items to our store this month! - Posted 2/1/2023

As you probably noticed a lot of our summer and spring items were taken out of our store due to seasonal changes. Our swimsuits, shorts, and other seasonal items are making their way back. 

We have been researching a new line of clothing and products for men. We are experimenting with this, so please give us time. If this line of products to not pan out we will delete them from our store. We are really excited and hoping these items are just as nice as they state they are. 

Digital items in bulk, yes, in bulk. Most 3rd party sites do not allow large files to be placed on their site, so we decided to list a lot of our digital items in this platform. All of our files we created from 2022 and before will be placed in large zip files to be purchased in bulk. New files, 2023 and on, will be listed individually. 

Hypogenic earrings will soon be added to the platform. These will be handmade, well not the actual gems, but will be put together, so that anyone who cannot wear certain metals will be able to wear pretty earrings once again. Our gems and pendants have arrived, we are just waiting on more French hooks and backs. 

 

🦋 New Product coming soon – postdate 1/13/2023:

I just realized that I cannot wear certain metals in my ears. I have searched far and wide for pretty earrings that I am not allergic to, it was not a success. So, I have ordered some items to make my own earrings. As I make a pair for myself, I will also be making a few pairs of the same type and placing them for sale in my store. These earrings will have all plastic except for the o rings and the actual pendants that dangle. I am looking forward to creating jewelry once again, but this time it will have a purpose, to help anyone and also myself to be able to own a pretty pair of earrings that we/I can actually wear.

This does not mean that we or any other online store depend on overseas products for their/our store supply. This is just a quick note incase you purchase something from someone and an item could be delayed around this time of the year. 

Chinese New Year starts on January 22, 2023, and ends on February 5, 2023, traditionally, Chinese Lunar New Year activities have started as early as three weeks before Chinese New Year’s Eve which is on January 22, 2023.

DATES TO KEEP IN MIND THAT WILL DELAY PROCESSING & TRANSIT TIME:

This public holiday results in seven days off work for employees as a public holiday, Chinese people will get January 21-27, 2023, off, though celebrations can last for more than two weeks.

Expect factory shutdowns for two weeks or so. The Chinese New Year shutdowns are usually followed by mass demand from businesses that need to make up for the two weeks’ worth of delayed products.

For those of us who rely on shipping and manufacturing businesses, the Chinese New Year shutdown is an event that we need to be aware of and prepared for in advance to avoid delays that could be catastrophic to our business.

It’s important to note that CNY in 2023 is 10 days earlier than it was in 2022, and COVID-19 and other logistics challenges can have unexpected consequences across the supply chain.

HALTED PRODUCTION: 

Chinese New Year is a public holiday in countries where it is celebrated. During the Chinese New Year holiday, all factories close and employees go on holiday for at least two weeks.

SHIPPING DELAYS: 

Since the Chinese New Year shutdown happens every year, business do their best to prepare for the factories’ time-out by setting most of their items to draft or setting apart the items that are in this category, or purchase in bulk ahead of time. 

The shutdown can often lead to an overload of shipments that need to be made right before the holiday begins. Factor in the chance that many workers will be leaving early to get a head start on their holiday, meaning fewer employees in the weeks leading up to the Chinese New Year, and there’s a good chance your shipment could be delayed in the buildup.

CHINESE NEW YEAR SHUTDOWN FOR 2023: 

Chinese New Year Eve celebrations begin on January 21, 2023, so suppliers will begin slowing down or stopping production a week or so before. Below is a schedule for the Chinese New Year holiday. This affects not only China but many other countries in Asia. 

• Early mid-January: Suppliers will begin to stop production.
• Mid-January: Employees begin leaving the factories.
• January 21: All employees have left the factory.
• January 22 Chinese New Year.
• End of January/early-February: Employees begin arriving back at the factories.
• February 11: Most employees have returned.
• February 18: Operations are almost back to normal.
• Loss of employees: Sadly, some employees never return to the factories, so production could still be slower due to new hires.

Hi, this is Lori the owner of Bay Gift Shop. We have had an issue with one of our vendors just recently. We are sorry if there were any products that were associated with this vendor that were not up to standards. We have deleted all items from this vendor that were in our online store. You, our customers, are very important to us. My store is my dream, my life, and my hobby, I love it. I do not want you dissatisfied in a product that you purchase from me, ever. 

So far only one of the products were not up to standards; but only two items were sold from this vendor. This was a new vendor that we were trusting in. We have refunded the customer fully including the shipping costs for that item. 

What I ask is please, before posting a public review that could destroy my dream, please message me. I am a very honest person, and I know what it is like to order something and having it not being up to standards. It rarely happens with the items in my store, but it can happen. 

Depending on how much the item costs, the time placed into the item, and so forth will depend if I will need the item sent back to me. For instance, the customer I refunded that purchased the item that I mentioned above was not going to put me in the hole in placing a full refund, and I did not want the item back. However, depending on the circumstance, I may need the item returned back to me before I issue a complete refund. 

Negative reviews hurt small businesses badly, please contact me before you do place a review so I can take care of it, and take the vendor out of my store.

The diamond art painting originated in Asia. It didn't take long for this artwork to reach Europe and America. Diamond art painting kits made their way onto the shelves of craft stores throughout the world. Most all diamond art paintings are created in Asia still today. 

What exactly is diamond painting? It’s not painting with actual diamonds, this would be an expensive past time that would exclude most crafters from participating. It’s more like paint by numbers, but constructed with tiny sparkling gem pieces that resemble diamonds that come together to form a brilliant piece of artwork. Diamond painting is a wonderful activity for anybody who loves to craft, no matter how old they are. Not only will you finish with a wonderful piece of artwork, but you will also gain meditative benefits. Diamond Painting is also called diamond cross-stitch, diamond dotz, diamond art and diamond embroidery.

The modern Diamond Painting was invented by a company based in China named Guangdong Dazu Yueming Laser Technology Co.,Ltd. In the patent, the inventor introduced a new way of creating the decorative paste. In the old-times, the Diamond Painting beads were placed on velvet. It was hard to make the glue stick on velvet, a new method was created. People can now place the gems on an adhesive plastic canvas. 

Why do people enjoy this craft? Placing beads on the canvas is easy but also a challenge. It is easy to place beads, but hard to follow the numbers. While following the numbers, your mind may resist doing that, but after some time, you will find that you can tame your mind. You tend to wander with the diamond painting, and it takes the stress away from the real world. The strength of diamond painting comes from a pattern, and taming your mind to listen to your heart.

To purchase a kit they are inexpensive to do yourself, however to purchase a completed diamond dot painting it can range from $40.00 to $1000.00; depending on the size, quality of diamonds, if it comes with a frame and so many other options. 

Remember, a diamond art painting does ease the mind, however, it also takes a lot of time and patience to complete one yourself, and possibly days, if not weeks to months to complete. Make sure you have the time to actually complete one, or if not pressed for time you can do it in intervals. 

🦋 We want to focus on some of the styles that we are adding related to this season "FALL". - Post Date October 6, 2022

Our Jeans: If you like jeans that are cute or just the opposite we have both styles. We have jeans that have pumpkins, spider webs, and fall décor printed on them or sewn into the fabric. We have regular jeans with holes that were made like that or jeans that do not have holes or rips. Most of our jeans have a slight stretch or are stretchy for comfort. There are just a few that do not have this added to the jean. Look into the description to see if there is a stretch to the jean or not.  

Our Sweaters: Our sweaters are top quality and are made slightly big. So think about sizing down one size if you do not like the oversized look. If you love extreme comfort then stay your normal size. Most all of our clothing, 98% of it is from a USA vendor. The last 2% is from an international vendor. Our USA vendor will not have the word international in the description. All of our international items will have something like: International Clothing line or International Shoe line or something of the sort. 

Our Jackets: Our jackets are very nice. Some are flannels so please make sure to read carefully or if you are not sure, message us. We put the flannels in with our jacket section since so many people prefer to wear them as light jackets. We also have beautiful cardigans, vests, and ponchos. 

Our Boots: Our boots, if they are not an international item, will come with the shoe box, unless otherwise noted, our international boot vendor will not have the shoe box due to higher shipping rates. Our boots are of high quality and are just like the pictures. Please take your normal sizing. We do offer United States boots and International boots. Please refer to the listing details to see if they are an international item. The United States boot vendor will not have the word international shoe collection in the description. All the boots we show below are just some from our USA Vendor.

It is that time of the year again! It is fall and most of us love to update our wardrobe to meet the new styles of this year, or it is just time to update some of your old clothing. But any who...we have just about all you're searching for and more. 

Last evening we added 95 different styles of jeans, over 300 new sweaters, hoodies, and sweatshirts, the other day we added quite a few different styles of boots. Today we are adding jackets, coats, and flannels.

1. It drives sales, and short term sales. (Pros: Offering a sales discount is one of the most straightforward ways to drum up instant consumer interest in your business. Discount pricing strategies like flash or seasonal sales are designed to pique prospects' interest and generate new business within short windows. Cons: Customers expect this price all the time, which is not possible.)

2. It's a good way to move excess or outdated inventory. (If you have unwanted inventory taking up space that needs to be allocated to newer or more desirable merchandise, offering a discount on those products can be an attractive, viable means of getting rid of them with some return.)

3. It can help you create demand for a new product or service. (Sales discounts are promotional by nature. They're designed to pique interest, and if you're looking to generate demand for a new product or service, interest is exactly what you need.)

4. You can attract new customers. (Discounts can make consumers take a closer look at your business — and that includes prospects that might not have been interested beforehand.)

1. (What customers think) It makes a customer think the owner doesn't have confidence in their products. (Fact:) The truth is I give discounts because I want you to find out the quality of my products. Once you see how great my clothing line is you will come back. Trust me, I know you will.)

2. (What a customer thinks) It establishes a lower perceived value for our products. (Fact:) Our products are top quality, especially our clothing line. I give a discount because I want you to see for yourself that paying what you did is well worth it and they are definitely worth the full price.)

3. (What a customer assumes) We are not trustworthy. (FACT:) We are very trustworthy. So we put our prices at what the vendor wants them to be; then we create a discount or a sale; however this doesn't always happen. We actually lose money, because we want you to keep coming back after seeing the quality of our clothing. If we give you a higher rate of percentage off it could be that you are wanting to turn away, it's not that it wasn't the best we could do in the first place, it's because we want you to come back. Sometimes we make only a few dollars from a sale; just so we can show you our great quality and customer service.)

4. MAIN REASON PEOPLE DO NOT GIVE DISCOUNTS: (FACT:) It cuts into the stores profits and exhausts the sales team. A 50% discount means a store owner must sell at least twice as much to make up for that sale and all the time put into their store. If you have employees it hurts them too. Remember, the vendor does not create discounts for wholesale items, unless you are buying an international item, then it could be possible, so the store takes a loss.

🦋 New News! We received our package from Trendy Attire! - Post date 9/23/22

This is the 1st top we will show you. I normally wear a large, my area is my stomach, so I ordered a medium. It is still pretty big, but it is a hoodie so it is do-able. I love it! Here is a pic of what the listing looked like before it was all sold out and 2 pictures I took of the actual item that I received. The pictures with the brown door is the pics I took. (I ordered these on 9/9/2022 and received my second shipment on 9/23/22) Remember we are not amazon and we do not have our own postal service.

 Our next item is the Leopard Patchwork Sunflower Print Distressed High Waist Jeans. These look better in real life, the camera did these no justice at all. I bought a size med, they fit comfortably but with my stomach being the problem, I should have bought a large. My stomach is very tender. If you are normally a size 9 to 11 without a stomach problem purchase a size med, if you have an issue with your stomach swelling, order a large. These are very cute jeans.

Our next is the Leopard Patchwork Distressed Jeans with Pockets. these are super cute even though they don't look the best with my phone camera. These are actual pictures. The stock photo is in the left hand corner. I bought a med, just like I said, these fit comfortably, but I like a more relaxed jean due to my stomach area.

Our second package is expected to arrive on September 26th. We ordered it on September 9th, it takes about 14 days (not counting Sundays) for an item to be delivered from Trendy Attire, some items take less time like the boots we purchased on the same date. 🦋 Yes we purchase from our vendors for our own closet! - post date 9/14/22

So occasionally we buy products that we like from our vendors. We ordered these boots on September 9th and received them today, September 14. The clothing we ordered did not arrive as of yet. If they are not an international item remember to go your exact size for shoes, and you guessed it these are not an international item. I ordered a half size up and they fit pretty loose. They are awesome boots but I should of ordered my correct sizing.

The pros of these boots:

A lot of tread, zipper and lace closure, and they are soft like suede on the outer part of  the boot. If it is a vendor from the United States they will have a shoe box, and these did. 

The cons of these boots: They are a normal boot lining inside. No memory foam, just a normal boot inside.

I did not use any filters, and the house was not well lit in these pictures. You can see how very nice they are! I will post another update when we receive the clothing we ordered. These are selling out FAST!

🦋 DIGITAL FILES: - post date late winter 2022

If anyone knows me they know I love anything dealing with computers, crafts, caring for the elderly, my family, and my kids; that also includes my fur-babies. I would like to state that all the digital items that are in our store was made by me; no one else's files are in my store. I use all types of software, fonts, pictures, and sayings to create my digital files. Please do not resell my files, they are for you to purchase but only for personal use. Example: Lets say you purchase one of my digital items, you don't feel like creating and selling an item with the files on it, so you feel it will be okay to resell the files. This is a BIG NO!

You can use these files on items that you want to create such as a tee, handbag, or of the same sort and then sell your item. But to sell the actual files, NO. When you sell your t-shirt, handbag, or whatever item it may be; please place a do not copy on the part of the listing description picture, that is my creation. (Not on the actual item you are making) This would be greatly appreciated. The already created files will be an automatic download from my site; due to not being customized personally for you. If you would like a custom item please message me. 

If you would like to have me create a digital item for you message me at baygiftshop@gmail.com or text me, and we can see if I have the capabilities to  create the item. I do not charge a lot for my digital creations. One of the main reasons is because I love to create them. I love creating; so please don't be afraid to message me and let me know if you are interested in a unique file for your masterpiece. My digital files start around 1.00 and go up to 19.99; it depends on what you want. Remember made to order files will have to be most likely emailed to you; it wont be an automatic download. 

There are different ways to pay for customized files. 

- Cash App is one; they don't charge a ton of extra fees. 

- POS (Point of Sale) if you are local this can be an option. 

- Cash if you are local this also can be an option. 

- Options are open for other ways to pay; as long as it is a legitimate site or app that is highly rated. Please let me know if you have a safe way to pay.

🦋 JEWELRY ITEMS: - post date winter 2022

I make European charm bracelets; yes, they look like the fancy expensive Pandora (we have no connection to this company at all) bracelets but are much cheaper depending if you want all sterling silver or if you want Alloy for the metals. If you want special beads ordered or special bracelets ordered you will have to pay ahead for the material. For instance; say you want a 14k gold bracelet; and sterling silver beads, with dangle diamonds, with unique lamp work beads. This will mean you will have to either purchase the material and send it to me or pay me ahead of time for the items so I can make  the bracelet for you. 

If you want a bracelet from some of the beads and snake chain bracelets that I have on stock then you will not have to pay ahead. 

I make earrings, necklaces, memory charm bracelets, and I can make stretch bracelets but I prefer not too.

Bay gift shop exclusives are items that we purchased wholesale and are stored at our location. If you see any of these items and you are interested in purchasing in bulk let us know, if the vendor we order from still carries that item we can work out a deal.

🦋 INTERNATIONAL ITEMS: - post date 2020

If we can, we have our international items sent to our location first for a quality check; if that vendor allows for it. Some of our vendors are directly connected to our site; those will come straight to your door. If you order something from an international vendor and the package states USPS shipping then we inspected the item and sent it to you from our location. IF an item is not up to standards, if it is broken, stained, or the stitching is horrible you will be notified and you will receive a full refund for that international item. Exchanges cannot be granted for international items only refunds. If you are not happy with the item it must be returned to us before you receive your full amount back. Please use the cheapest way possible; as long as it has tracking when returning an item to us. We will not refund huge amounts in shipping costs if there are other ways to ship the item more affordably. 

Our international items come from different areas such as France, China, Taiwan, India, Turkey, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Mexico.
